I was just going to link this, but then found this really cool history by the same guy as well!
I just realised it’s seven years to the day that I’ve been at EngDesign. As that’s about the time of degree plus maybe I should get more in the habit of describing myself as an engineer rather than a physicist…
Good to see the announcement that Newcastle Uni is getting a proper physics department again. It used to have one fifteen years-ago (!) when I graduated. Interesting to see some familiar names on the staff list too 🙂
