There is a great tradition that sometime around my birthday Heather and I find ourselves in Canary Wharf for their annual Winter Lights event. So it was we once again found ourselves there back in .
Back before our trip, but only catching up with now, Heather and I took in two sparkly seasonal light shows closer to home—one was entertaining, one left me a bit meh.
After having visited it was back to familiarity with a little jaunt out to our favourite bit of seaside, down Hastings way.

As I mentioned in the last post we were at Tower Bridge close to Heather’s birthday (and mine), and so we’d actually made a weekend of it. We’d had dinner in a restaurant the night before and been in a hotel for that early bridge start. So we had the rest of Saturday and Sunday to enjoy, and had decided to take in some culture.
