The world has been weird and it has been far, far too long since Heather and I were last at a proper gig. It was with some relief (if a little nervousness) that we finally found ourselves on a Saturday night trip into London, with a new venue to boot!
The interruptions of Covid mean that getting places has this year been difficult, or at least delayed. So during the relative calm of the moment Heather and I took the opportunity of taking our annual visit to Rochester. This time though we made the decision that we wouldn’t be rushed for time, or having to get the train home after a lovely dinner, so we made the effort to stay over night.
We’ve seen Elmers in Newcastle, and Elmers in just plain old Castle, so when Heather and I heard they were coming to Maidstone we planned to go and catch them there. We finally made it on the last day, to collect a whole herd.
Right, time for some catching up, beginning with a little trip to Southend with Heather, Faith, and Dylan to see another WAY member, Louise. It was like going to the seaside, but sort of not because it’s more on the river, but whatever!
