A very warm and sunny saw Heather and I head to Wembley for the Stone Roses were in town. We arrived quite early but still missed G-O-D as we were finding some lunch. Rejecting the fan zone and overcrowded bars we found a shop to sell us sandwiches and cans of beer, sitting on the steps of Wembley like teenagers. With the awful Sleaford Mods turning up to “support” we wished we’d stayed outside for longer. The Blossoms were good though, warming the crowd up nicely for the main event. The Roses were as magnificent as always, though we felt probably slightly better when we saw them in Manchester. They played more old stuff though, which was good.
