Can it really be nearly a decade since we visited Bluebell Railway? That seems far too long, so it was with pleasure Heather and I went down with Faith and Dylan to a special Road Meets Rail steam day.

Dogs Guide Us Round The Wharf

Heather and I enjoy an animal sculpture trail, so when we heard there was one coming to Canary Wharf, especially one on such a cute theme as guide dogs, we couldn’t resist. We finally got round to visiting it a couple of weeks ago.

A Sketchy Michelangelo Exhibition

Now that I’ve caught up on Newcastle, and given my sluggishness we’ve past the photo embargo time by some weeks, I can catchup with a preview visit to the British Museum‘s latest exhibition, Michelangelo: The Last Decades.

Steaming Up North

Catching up a bit here, from the end of March/beginning of April, which saw Heather and I heading north to my home city of Newcastle, with a bit of an elongated weekend.
