More colours of projection
Goodness me, I really have been neglectful of posting. Lots of bits to catch up on I’ve had lots of pics and some words ready to go for ages, just not found the time to put everything together. First off, hot on the heels of a whole bunch of light related art we found ourselves at St Martins-in-the-Fields in the heart of London for another light show.

A Firey Exterior
Pretty colours on the church
Space is a light projection installation by Luxmuralis, who were also responsible for Time which we saw . It was hard not to see this as a companion piece.
We began with some rather abstract projection to the exterior of the church and neighbouring building before heading into the church itself. There some scrolling Star Wars style text and images of Moon missions greeted us before we headed down to the crypt. There a variety of colours picked out the brick vaulting in a kaleidoscope of patterning.

The Glory
Of God?
The main show was back upstairs though, in the main church of the space, where we sat through a trademark projection sequence lasting several minutes. It has some good spots but probably fell below the other Luxmuralis things we’ve seen, possibly partly because we saw them first—these things begin to feel a little bit repetitive after a bit. Still enjoyable, and the church is lovely.
